Vendor Review Process

Our vendors are our partners and our members' partners.  It is our duty to select our partners wisely.  To accomplish this we have created an extensive Vendor Review Process (VRP) to quickly and efficiently screen potential vendor who meet the initial requirements.  This initial screen reviews the following:

  • Customer references
  • Supplier references
  • Business credit
  • Financial statements

Once a vendor has passed the initial screening process a detailed review of the products and services begins.  Where possible, we use the products or services at the corporate office.  In the cases where the corporate office cannot use the products and services (i.e. mortgage leads) we will request that appropriate members test the products on our behalf.  If the products and services are deemed suitable for our membership base we move to the final negotiations.

Based upon the quality of the vendor, its products and services and its customer service levels we negotiate pricing on behalf of our thousands of members.  Final approval is not granted until our members are offered the best pricing available.
